Every Local Authority needs to publish information about services they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from birth to 25 who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and also services outside of the area which they expect children and young people from their area will use.
This will be known as the ‘Local Offer’.
Our contribution to this is to provide clear information to parents and carers about our ‘Local Offer’ at Camulos Academy.
The Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service (formally Parent Partnership) provides information, advice and support to parents, carers, children and young people in relation to Special Educational Needs and Disability.
We are an impartial, free and confidential service and operate at arm’s-length from the Local Authority.
Referrals can be made by a parent/carer, child or young person themselves or anyone who has their permission.
