Our Safeguarding Team

If you have a concern about the safety and welfare of a child, please ask to speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, MISS COX (DEPUTY HEADTEACHER).

If MISS COX is unavailable, please ask to speak to a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: MR GREATOREX (SENCO) or MRS FRITH-SLY (HEADTEACHER).

The Governor responsible for Safeguarding is MR HASSAN, who can be contacted via the school office - 01206 588588 or office@camulosacademy.co.uk 

 

Staff responsible for Health and Safety are MRS FRITH-SLY, Headteacher, and MR ELLIS, Site Manager.

 

REPORTING CONCERNS

Any member of staff can make a direct report to another agency in order to safeguard a child.

Essex Single Point of Access (Social Services) can be contacted on the following numbers:

 

Essex Local Authority Designated Officer can be contacted to report any concerns about a staff member that may cause harm to a child on 0118 937 3555.

 

NSPCC run a free 24-hour telephone service for any person who wants to report a concern about a child: 0808 800 5000.
