Early Help at Camulos
At Camulos Academy, we are lucky to have Mrs Clare Shurvinton who can assist our families with Early Help Support. Mrs Shurvinton has an extensive background in Supporting Families, has vast knowledge and expertise in ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing and Anxiety, which has allowed her to support numerous children and their families with practical resources and parenting advice and strategies for home. Mrs Shurvinton has her own Parenting Programme, Piece it Together for Children with Additional Needs, that will be soon running in Camulos. In addition to this, she also has access to The Triple P Online Parenting Programme, which assists parents with understanding their children who may or may not have a diagnosis of ADHD or Conduct Disorder. This is an online parenting module for parents to complete in the comfort of their own homes. Please contact her if you would like to have access to this.
Mrs Shurvinton has worked in Mainstream School settings, Specialist Provision School settings and has years of experience as an Intensive Family Support Worker. Please do not hesitate to make contact with her if you or your family need any support. Childline has an online text chat feature to a counsellor. This enables children to reach out without having to call, especially important for those who cannot have phone conversations without being heard on the phone:
