PTA

Parent Fundraising Team

 

The PFT is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work throughout the school year to raise additional funds for the school. Meetings take place regularly to share ideas, plan events and organise how money raised can best be spent to further enhance the school environment and opportunities for the children.

Since it first began, the PFT (previously known as V@CA) have organised and run:

 

  • Discos

  • Christmas Shopping events for children

  • Summer Fayres

  • Quiz Night

 

Future events include ‘Freeze-Pop Fridays’ and Afternoon Tea/Stay and Play.

With the funds raised, the PFT has so far been able to provide these wonderful resources:

 

  • High quality picnic benches for use during playtimes and for outdoor learning.

  • A wide selection of toys and games for children to use during wet/indoor playtimes.

  • Brand-new books to add to the KS2 library.

  • Permanent playground markings to provide playtime activity and

outdoor learning opportunities.

 

The PFT are always looking for willing volunteers who may be able to spare some time to help plan and organise events. Please contact vaca@camulosacademy.co.uk if you would like to be involved.
