On 28th September 2023, our Year 5/6 boys football team took on nine other primary school teams. In doing so, the school represented our school superbly.

Camulos started with a respectful 0-0 draw against Copford. In our second match, Camulos were extremely unlucky to concede a very late goal to lose 1-0 against Tiptree Heath. Another 0-0 draw followed against Braiswick with the team going close on many occasions. In our fourth match, Camulos secured their big win of the day, securing a comfortable 3-0 against Colchester High. Year 5's Denzel opened the score followed by two goals from Year 6's Jacob A.

Following a quick rest, Camulos secured another 0-0 draw against Heathlands. Another rest break followed alongside another 0-0 draw against Baynards. Our defense was proving strong and had only conceded 1 goals in our first six matches. We also proved to be extremely difficult to beat, losing just one of our opening six matches.

A narrow 1-0 defeat followed against along with Hamilton. Two more respectful 0-0 draws occured against St. Johns and Highwoods, with Year 6's Max saving a penalty against Highwoods in the last kick of the game. In our final match, Hamilton ran out 1-0 winners. 

Camulos won 1 and drew 5 of our 9 matches, proving to be a difficult team to beat. Well done Camulos, you represented our school fantastically!
